• Pitch-appropriate set-out (typical VELUX range from ~15° on pitched roofs; flat-roof units use purpose-made curbs)

• Warm roof detailing: insulated collars, vapour control and airtightness tapes to minimise heat loss and condensation

• Neat internal finishes: plasterboard reveals, trim, paint-ready finish

2. Specify & protect — choose flashings, pitch, curb (flat roofs), and insulation pack; protect interiors

3. Install — structural opening (if required), window set-out, flashing & weathering to spec

4. Finish — airtightness/insulation collars, internal reveals, tidy & waste removed

5. Handover — operation demo, care tips, photos; workmanship guarantee + VELUX manufacturer warranties
